Hi all,
This is the place where you can ask questions about the site. I'll do my best to find the answers. |

I'm having trouble locating the instructions for posting pics. I don't want to use imageshack or Photobucket as I find they are always censoring the pics and generally messing about. (It's not as if I post porn, but I do like the tasteful nudity on this forum.
art And I would like to post a full size pic such as the the first one in the Erin O'Connor thread. How do I do that? art |

Hi art, Images can only be posted here from a picture hosting site such as Photobucket or Imageshack. So, they provide one limit as to what can and cannot be posted. All of us, myself included, have to accept that. FMF's hosts also have rules concerning decency and nudity. That means that members are requested to remember that this is a fashion model site and pictures posted should be at all times FASHION PHOTOGRAPHS. Within those defined limits FMF very much welcomes tasteful and artistic photography. We all want the best pics, but no one wants any trouble.
All you have to do is post the picture's url at its hosting site, framed by the IMG tags. If you are using photobucket, you will find that the pic's IMG code, (with IMG tags already in place), is the bottom of four codes beneath the pic. Just click on it and copy, then paste in the posting box here at FMF. I don't use imageshack, but I would guess that they have the IMG code placed pretty obviously also. I really hope this helps. Ask more if you need to. |

We've been seeing some porn around here recently and there's more in the Off Topic Forum. I suggest you delete it and the perpetrator's membersip without further ado or explanation. art |

Hi art, thanks for reporting the spam. You are absolutely right and I'm afraid that even with as few members as we have, this site already has a problem with idiots spam posting links to porn sites. This has been happening every single day for the last few weeks. So, every single day, (and some days more than once), I delete the spam, ban the "member" responsible, ban their email address, ban their IP address and delete that "member" from the site. And then the very next day, (or even just later on the same day), almost certainly the same person rejoins using a new member name, new email address and new IP address, then re-posts those same spam links to porn sites. Then I delete the spam posts... etc. And so the battle continues. And even though it can hardly be worth their while with us having so few members, and most times the spam being deleted having had 0 views, the relentless spam postings continue. This means that each time I visit the site I have to spend 20 to 30 minutes of my time deleting this rubbish and banning the "member" responsible. It takes so long because I'm on dial-up which is REALLY SLOW and I live in an extremely remote place where broadband is not available. Of course this is all totally maddening, but there is nothing more I can do about it. |

I've been distracted on other things recently but in a free moment I looked at the Erin O'Connar and Adina Fholin sites and found that my posting last year had gone pictureless.
So I went back into Image Cave and posted the Madisyn Ritland pics from there and everything seems to have been reinstated. Thought you might like to know. A general comment here (maybe more suitable to a different thread) but the new crop of girls doesn't seem as interesting as 3-4 years ago. Any comment of this? art |

Hi art, Glad your pics are back. Well this thread isn't really the place for a discussion on models. Why not start a thread on the General Fashion Model Discussions board? |
